OFFICIAL RULES & EVENT INFORMATION

1. EVENT
OVERVIEW
The Melloy Los Lunas Car Show is open to approved show vehicles including cars,
trucks, and specialty vehicles. The event is intended to provide a fun,
family-friendly automotive gathering for the community.
2. REGISTRATION
& CHECK-IN
• All vehicles must be registered and checked in no later than 12:00 PM on
Saturday, June 27, 2026.
• Vehicles arriving after 12:00 PM may not be eligible for judging.
• Entrants must complete all required registration information prior to
participation.
• Melloy Auto Group reserves the right to refuse entry to any vehicle or
participant at its sole discretion.
3. EVENT
CATEGORIES
Vehicles will compete in one of the following four categories:
• General Motors
• Ford
• Mopar
• Import / Other
Event staff and judges reserve the right to determine final category placement for all entered vehicles.
4. JUDGING
& AWARDS
• Judging will begin promptly at 12:00 PM.
• Initial category judging is expected to conclude by approximately 1:00 PM.
• One winner will be selected from each category.
• Each category winner will receive a $500 cash prize.
• Following category judging, the four category winners will advance to a final
round of judging for Best in Show.
• One Best in Show winner will be selected and awarded an additional $500 cash
prize.
• All judging decisions are final.
5. VEHICLE
OWNERSHIP & AUTHORIZATION
By entering the event, each participant certifies that they are either:
• The registered legal owner of the entered vehicle, OR
• Authorized by the legal owner to display and enter the vehicle in the event.
Melloy Auto Group is not responsible for verifying vehicle ownership or authorization documentation.
6. PARTICIPANT
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Entrants are responsible for the conduct of themselves, their guests, and
anyone accompanying their vehicle.
• Burnouts, reckless driving, excessive revving, unsafe operation, alcohol
abuse, illegal substances, fighting, or disruptive behavior will result in
immediate removal from the event.
• Vehicles must remain in designated display areas unless directed otherwise by
event staff.
• Entrants are responsible for securing their own vehicles and personal
property at all times.
7. LIABILITY
RELEASE
By participating in the Melloy Los Lunas Car Show, all entrants, participants,
and guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance and
participation in the event.
Entrants release and hold harmless Melloy Auto Group, Melloy Ford, Melloy Chevrolet, Melloy Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, event staff, sponsors, judges, property owners, affiliates, employees, and volunteers from any and all claims, damages, injuries, losses, theft, liabilities, or expenses arising from participation in the event.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Vehicle damage
• Theft or vandalism
• Personal injury
• Mechanical failure
• Weather-related incidents
• Acts of God or other unforeseen circumstances
8. WEATHER
& EVENT CHANGES
The event is rain or shine unless otherwise determined by Melloy Auto Group.
Event organizers reserve the right to modify schedules, judging procedures,
awards, categories, or event operations at any time without prior notice.
9. PHOTO
& VIDEO RELEASE
By attending or participating in the event, entrants and guests grant Melloy
Auto Group permission to photograph and record vehicles, participants, and
spectators for promotional, advertising, social media, website, and marketing
purposes without compensation or further approval.
10. ACCEPTANCE
OF RULES
Participation in the Melloy Los Lunas Car Show constitutes full acceptance of
all event rules, regulations, and decisions made by event organizers and
judges.
